There are three types of training offered by safeTY jacket:
– First Responder Training is a 90-minute training aimed at educating first responders on safeTY jacket and how to interact with individuals with developmental disabilities.
– Community Training is a 60-minute training aimed at educating caregivers, guardians, and community members on how to act as a bridge between individuals with developmental disabilities and first responders.
– Individualized Training is available for guardians and includes instruction on how to sign someone up for safeTY jacket and information about the program.
